The model 410 Electromagnetic Pump (EMP^™) is the original in the 4 inch range of pumps. The pump is the heart of the installation; it gives a high efficiency output with a substantial flow rate. The 410 EMP is recommended for many applications requiring improved productivity and metal recovery.

The 415 EMP comprises a cylindrical electromagnetic coil, lined with a silicon nitride tube. The coil uses the induced electromagnetic currents to propel the molten aluminium from the furnace to the chargewell, the direction and speed of flow being controlled at the operator station.
